Virgin Radio partners with Visit London and Thorpe Park

On-air and online promotion features DJ Suggs

Virgin Radio has teamed up with Visit London and Thorpe Park for an on-air and online promotion.

The month-long activity will promote special offers by the two brands for children and parents over the May bank holiday weekends, focusing on Visit London's 'Kids love London' campaign and Thorpe Park's 'buy one get one free' offer. It will also aim to drive traffic to the brands' websites, on which promotional vouchers can be found.

The campaign feature voiceovers by Virgin Radio DJ Suggs and a branded microsite at http://www.virginradio.co.uk/ where listeners will have a chance to win prizes, including a family trip to London.

"This is the first time these two brands have come together and at a very timely moment," said Nick Hewat, sales director at Virgin Radio.

"With the sun shining, this promotion should really tempt families to Thorpe Park and other 'Kids love London' attractions over the bank holiday. Suggs always makes his voiceovers unique and will create real stand out for the brands."
