

IPC raids Haymarket for inserts ad director 11 July 2005 16:12
Dan Handscomb set to leave HammersmithIPC Advertising has named a new ad director for IPC Innovator - its inserts division.
Dan Handscomb, who is currently group business development manager for Haymarket Publishing, is returning to IPC after 12 months away. He was formerly group ad manager.
In his new role, Handscomb will report to Neil Perkin, ad director, marketing and strategy.
Innovator became part of IPC's creative solutions division, which was created as part of the recent restructure of its group advertising operations.
Caroline McDevitt, group advertising director, said: "I'm delighted to appoint Dan to this important role within IPC group advertising. He is a highly talented and extremely enthusiastic sales person who is well networked throughout the agency world.
"Dan's knowledge of both IPC Media in general and Innovator in particular will be a great advantage, and will enable him to really hit the ground running when he joins us next week."
